Book Recommendations for Kids
“You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk to them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” Deuteronomy 6:7
When it comes to books for our children, I used to grab anything and everything (age appropriate of course) just so they had plenty of books to read. As time went on and the stacks grew larger and larger, I realized that it’s not the quantity of books, rather than quality.
The feast that you place before your children is so vital so you can instill the values that are important to you and your family. For us, having faith-based books that teach our children to fear the Lord is top priority.
Today I’m sharing not only books that I feel are age appropriate for our children and teach about the Lord but they are such sweet books that I love keeping out to read over and over again.
I want to thank Our Daily Bread Ministries and Glenys Nellist for these adorable books written by Glenys. My children are enjoying each and I have truly enjoyed watching them learn about our Savior through reading these books.
