These days there's a medicine for everything, am I right?!
I try my hardest as a mom to provide our family with the healthiest remedies. Our little ones have a lot of leg aches at night. We made this wonderful oil to help ease the pain.
Lavender Oil Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 cup dried lavender flowers (we love this brand!)
5-10 drops of peppermint essential oil (if you have younger children, you may want to include less)
1/2 cup liquid coconut oil
Directions:
Fill your ball jar with the flowers. Top with peppermint essential oil and coconut oil. Cover and shake.
Warm the oil and apply it to areas of muscle aches.
The recipe idea came from one of our favorite simple living books. It's full of delicious teas, essential oils, handicrafts, and so much more. We recently added it to our collection and have been loving going through it during our slow days of winter.
